Briquette Manufacturing Process:
Raw material like saw dust is screened and stalks are ground by chipper cum Grinder For using material of two or more types, it should be mixed in suitable form by mixture/ manually. if raw material has high moisture it should be reduced by sun drying or using a flash dryer if moisture is so high, it can be reduced by a Rotary drum dryer.
A Hammermill grinder is utilized to grind the material to get desired grains size for small models. The raw material is moved by a pneumatic system to holding bins fixed over the Briquetting press. Dust is received by cyclone or direct by screw conveyor to B.Pass. By screw conveyor, the material is discharged from the bin to the press. Material is compressed by ram through taper bored die.
By compression, the temperature is raised & lignin comes to the surface and binds the material by its natural binder. Briquettes are formed in the shape of a log and it is automatically pushed through the cooling line to the storage points.
